Free Volunteer Management Training Toolkit
Are you already working on a project concentrating on child poverty issues? Do you want to make the most of volunteers and make your project even more successful? Or are you planning an activity and want to know how volunteers can help you to achieve more?
If so, you'll be interested to know CSV offered free training across England and now we're producing a toolkit so if you missed the training, you can still get all the details.
Dates and the locations of training were as follows:
30 July 2007 Newcastle
31 July 2007 York
1 August 2007 Leicester
2 August 2007 Birmingham
3 August 2007 London
Steve McCurley presented the workshops. Steve is an acclaimed trainer, speaker and management consultant, with over thirty years of experience in this field. The workshops were a great success, we'll be adding photos of delegates and the sessions to the website soon.
Steve covered subjects including how to effectively recruit the volunteers you need, train those volunteers to become volunteer managers and volunteer motivation and retention. The workshop leaflet gives more detail about each session.
Steve is also writing a toolkit on the training. It'll be available soon.
If you would like to receive the toolkit please email daretocare@csv.org.uk.
We're looking forward to hearing from you.
