Volunteers cleared the beach around Brownsea Island of
debris, invasive Rhododendron and litter.
How did it make a difference?
Brownsea Island is a key historical tourist attraction - keeping
the beaches clean is an important part of the conservation of the
island in maintaining the habitat required for its resident species
of animals and native trees and plants.
