Kriss Akabusi supports Flashmob Guide!
Kriss Akabusi has sprinted on board this year’s campaign by supporting our How-to Start a Flashmob-with-a-Purpose Guide!
Flashmobs are apparently spontaneous gatherings of people in public places. They’ve always been fun, but largely pointless activities – until now that is!
With the help of our How-to Guide, you can adapt the idea of a Flashmob into a volunteering activity for CSV Make a Difference Day 2008.
Akabusi, now a motivational speaker, is hoping his motivational skills can get people involved in volunteering.
He says, "When I was training as an athlete, keeping myself motivated was the key to success. This is your chance to motivate others to get involved in volunteering, by organising your own Flashmob-with-a-Purpose! It's a great way to take part in CSV Make a Difference Day, and really make a difference in your community. Who knows, you may even be able to set a Flashmob World Record!"
To get your copy of the guide, contact the Make a Difference Day team at difference@csv.org.uk or phone 0800 284 533.
