We all know that public service organisations do a
great job all year round but for CSV MD Day volunteers
really turn out in huge numbers to show their support and lend a
helping hand.
Here are just some of your CSV Make a Difference Day
stories!
Ilfracome: Volunteers
archived at least ten years worth of official documents and created
an inventory for donated assets ahead of a major refurbishment
project at the Town Council.
Durham: The Heritage Coast helped volunteers
make enchanting lanterns and then joined in with a lantern parade
up the mining timeline trail at the Easington Colliery pit site
Manchester: Tracing your Caribbean Family
Tree isn't easy. That's why Manchester Libraries hosted a talk for
beginners by Linford Sweeney on how to get started on what can be a
challenging, but rewarding, journey of self
discovery
