Since its formation in 1962, CSV has built a proud record of commitment and innovation. The challenge we set ourselves every day is to maintain that reputation.
The work of CSV’s Training and Enterprise Division is focused on helping young people and adults, and particularly those with special or different needs, to progress and achieve in education and in the workplace. We believe that everybody has something to offer; we design and deliver training for people who find it difficult to access mainstream provision, helping them to build confidence and develop personal and work skills.
Our local centres are encouraged to meet the challenges and opportunities facing them in their own areas with a distinctive and coherent style based on local knowledge and an accurate assessment of need. This local network is supported by national guidance and strategic direction setting out clear policies and quality standards.
We constantly seek and evaluate new methods of dealing with the problems our learners face. We are committed to high standards and quality of training. Our programmes are designed to deal effectively with basic and other skills needs, health and motivational issues, and social and economic barriers.
We are proud of our work, confident in what we do and have a record of maintaining high standards of service to the communities we serve.
