This Clubhouse is a large digital multimedia centre with music and community art facilities. It is in the heart of the planned Ipswich Village, close to the town centre.

The following projects and activities are just a sample:

Ipswich Community Radio (ICR 105.1FM)
The UK’s longest established not-for-profit community radio group. Transmitting to the world on the internet since 2004, ICR has recently been awarded a five year FM licence and will start local FM broadcasting on 15 August 2007. ICR always has a strong representation of local and alternative music, arts and the spoken word.

Ipswich Community Television
A new project aimed at taking advantage of the opportunities of licensed local television promised by the Communications Bill currently passing through parliament.

Millennium Volunteers
A vibrant, socially inclusive project that engages 16 – 24 year olds in volunteering and training activity. More than 36% of MVs are from black and ethnic minorities.

UK Online
Drop-in internet café, with taster sessions in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and media subjects.

Move On
Informal media and ICT training and support for those looking to return to the labour market.

Creative Lab
Hands-on radio and journalism, or TV and video production, skills that could help you find work or enter further education. Participation in Creative Labs leads to an NVQ Level 3 qualification.

Upskilling Suffolk
An educational and training project that will improve employability prospects, self-development and enhance economic growth through lifelong learning provision for individuals within micro and medium businesses, the voluntary sector and self-employed people throughout Suffolk. Learners will benefit from a wide range of ICT accredited training including Digital Photography, Web design, Photoshop, Flash, and Digital Video Editing.
