Resources for all ages
CSV Action 4 Sustainability has a growing collection of resources available for Highland schools to borrow, covering many topics that are part of sustainable development.
A comprehensive list will soon be available online. If you would like to receive one of these lists - as it becomes available, please email the project coordinator Elanor Gordon at elanor.gordon@highland.gov.uk.
Reduce, reuse, recycle
The project can lend you much on the subject of waste minimisation and the 3Rs - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
There are also resources to guide you through the subject of sustainability, as well as renewable energy/energy efficiency, water and our natural heritage. These include teachers' packs on trees/forests, rivers, minibeasts. There are resources for all age groups.
Early years - The Big Beautiful Biodiversity Box
Specifically for early years, there is a fantastic Big Beautiful Biodiversity Box, which is packed full of games and books to entertain and educate on minibeasts etc.
