CSV in Scotland's flagship campaign this year was Dare to Care: Make Time to Help End Child Poverty.
The campaign started in November '07 and finished in June '08, successfully managing to mobilise youth and community groups across Scotland to take a stand against child poverty.

Dare to Care supported 73 organisations to set up activities that either raised awareness about child poverty or did something practical to tackle the issue.
Over 6000 people took part, with over 400 volunteers helping to organise and run the activities. Each organisation received financial and administrative help from CSV to ensure their activities were a huge success!
Examples of activities that were set up as part of Dare to Care include:
- A 3-day football festival organised by Pilmeny Youth Centre
- An 'End Child Poverty' radio programme written and produced by young people from Station House Media Unit in Aberdeen
- Setting up a volunteer hub in Glasgow for young people to access information about volunteering and community action
- A community litter clean-up in the Highlands
- Setting up a Saturday activity programme for children in East Lothian who are socially isolated or coping with complex health needs.
CSV would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to ALL the organisations that got involved in Dare to Care and contributed to its success.
