E2E (or Entry to Employment) offers 16-19 year olds a path towards a Modern Apprenticeship or employment in a vocational setting. Eye to Eye Mentoring supports this process, through volunteer mentors, recruited, trained and matched by CSV, who provide one-to-one mentoring support for Springboard Learners.

Mentoring has been found to have a positive impact on motivation and self-esteem and Eye to Eye offers all E2E learners at Springboard Islington the opportunity to access a mentor.

Mentors agree to meet with their mentees regularly, offering a listening ear and providing support with lifeskills as needed.

Mentees benefit from having a positive role model and, through careful matching, a mentor who either shares or can support their vocational interest, be it childcare, IT, sport, or construction.
