A Community Team Challenge is a one day event that gives employees the opportunity to carry out a practical task that makes a visible difference, and benefits the local community.

It enables employees to use practical skills and work together as a group to achieve combined objectives with the partner organisation.

Awareness of Issues
Involvement with the education, voluntary and community sectors provides employee volunteers with the opportunity to gain an understanding of a range of social issues.

Staff Development
Community Team Challenges may be used to develop current teams or as an opportunity for cross departmental working.

Almost all volunteers who participate in Community Team Challenges say that working with their colleagues in a new environment is an excellent way to develop team spirit.

For more information on Team Challenges, contact Lesley Nicholls by email at lnicholls@csv.org.uk or by telephone on 020 7643 1427.

NB: Part of your Community Team Challenge may be to fundraise for materials that your project may require, such as paint and gardening equipment.
