CSV Employee Volunteering provides a full, premium service for the delivery of team challenges, which includes:
• Identification of several opportunities which meet the requirements of the team – date, location, team size, type of activity etc
• Site visit with the team leader to determine the tasks the team will carry out and make housekeeping arrangements
• Risk assessment of the tasks
• Liaison between the team and the host organisation
• Facilitation of tools and materials
• Feedback and event report
It takes not less than 8 weeks to organise a Challenge from registration with CSV to the date of the event, and the charge for this service is dependent on the size of the team.
Why does CSV make a charge?
CSV provides a professional service to client organisations. We charge on a not-for-profit basis, but need to recoup the costs of salaries, staff travel etc, and office costs.
A high proportion of the cost is spent on staff time to carry out the research to find the right opportunity for each team. We may need to contact many organisations to identify the two or three which would like the help of a team of the size available to carry out a task which would interest the team, is in a suitable location and who can host the event on the date required and provide supervision.
Each challenge is assigned to a project officer who is fully trained in the latest Health and Safety procedures. Your dedicated project officer carries out the research with the exact requirements of the team in mind and acts as a point of contact throughout the delivery process.
