CSV delivers Community Team Challenges around the country at community venues such as charities, schools, community centres and parks.

Do you have a task that a team of volunteers can deliver for you?
You can get a job done with free and willing labour, and the Challenge will be set up by an experienced volunteering charity.

Challenges can include painting rooms, halls, playgrounds and murals, clearing spaces, redesigning gardens and play areas, environmental projects, or day trips, not to mention creating websites and educational resources.

How does it work?
Local companies approach us looking to dedicate one day to a project within a community setting
CSV presents each company with a range of tasks to choose from.

We undertake a site visit with a representative from the company at the chosen project and will be responsible for a comprehensive risk assessment.

We will continue to work with all involved to ensure the smooth running of the event. The event is followed up with an evaluation of all parties.

Why do companies volunteer?
Employee volunteering not only benefits the organisation, but also the members of the company in terms of personal development, leadership and team building.

Many companies participate in these activities as part of their overall ‘social responsibility’ policy: one day volunteering events are a way of introducing employees to volunteering as part of staff development, providing opportunities to create relationships with their local area, participate in a worthwhile project and develop teamwork and communication skills.

All you have to do...
CSV would ask you to provide supervision on the day and try to locate any related materials and equipment. We can discuss limitations for funding depending on numbers of volunteers involved.
