Dare to Care: Make time to help end child poverty is a campaign led by CSV and the Campaign to End Child Poverty.
This campaign aims to encourage 35,000 people to volunteer their time to help children living in poverty. Everyone has something to offer and every small change in a child’s life has the potential to make a real and lasting difference.
How can employers participate?
CSV Employee Volunteering, in conjunction with the Dare to Care Campaign, has put together a new package for employers to provide their employees with the opportunity to carry out a one day Team Challenge activity and support this campaign to alleviate child poverty in the UK.
CSV Employee Volunteering will work with your team to identify a one day team project that could support a wide variety of anti child poverty initiatives. Volunteers may find themselves redecorating an inner city school, working to improve a sports ground, or spending a day in the garden of a children’s hospice.
For a charge of £750*, CSV Employee Volunteering will source a suitable volunteering activity for your team, undertake a site visit and risk assessment, and provide general facilitation up until the day of the team challenge.
Please note: The maximum number of volunteers per team is 20.
How do I take this forward?
