Research & Evaluation
As part of Capital Volunteering; the Institute of Psychiatry (IoP) evaluated the effects that participating in Capital Volunteering had on the quality of service users’ lives. The evaluation looked at the hopes, fears and experiences of 150 Capital Volunteers soon after they joined the project and then followed them up at 6 months and 12 months.
The latest evidence that Capital Volunteering is working, based on the evaluation of the programme, has just been produced in a fourth interim report by the institute of Psychiatry.
