In Nottinghamshire, CSV is working with the Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust to deliver volunteering and learning opportunities with and for mental health service users.

Most Notts Healthcare projects are currently delivered in North Notts, although we do have a project working in Nottingham City.

The projects are varied, with project staff endeavouring to create opportunities for volunteers to use and share their skills and expertise: befriending, ward visiting, social activities, learning support, environmental work, knitting, Indian head massage, music and song, and more...

If you're over 18, have a particular interest in mental health issues and the social exclusion that they can create, if you're thinking about a career in mental health or social care, or if you just have some time and would really like to spend it in a worthwhile way, Notts Healthcare could have the opportunity for you! You'll be making a hugely valuable contribution, helping someone on their road to recovery and sharing your skills, expertise, time and humour!
