Nottinghamshire Healthcare's Rainbow Learning Project, supported by a Lottery grant through the Reaching Communities programme, provides learning and development opportunities for adults with long term mental health difficulties, away from the hospital environment within their own communities.
Rainbow Learning is looking for volunteers to help deliver the learning and development programme in North Notts, either providing one-to-one support for individual students or, with the appropriate qualifications, acting as course tutors.
Learning and development volunteer opportunities are available in locations across North Nottinghamshire including Ashfield, Mansfield, Newark, Worksop and Ollerton. In return the Rainbow Learning team will work with you, offering support and an opportunity to increase your skills.
If you would like to know more about Rainbow Learning and how you can get involved as a volunteer, please contact Glenys at glenys.hadley@nottshc.nhs.uk or
Brian at brian.wilson@nottshc.nhs.uk for further details.
