If you are aged 16-25, live in Luton or South Bedfordshire and want to do something different with your time, you can!

Yu-Act gives you the chance to get involved in exciting local activities in  your spare time.

Yu-Act enables you to have a taste of volunteering without having to make a big commitment.  You can dip in and dip out of activities, depending on how much time you can give and your interests.

We organise regular group volunteering activities and one-off volunteering opportunities.  Previous activities have included involvement in the Luton Carnival, conservation projects, helping out at Whipsnade Zoo, supporting children with a disability to attend football matches, giving a homeless hostel a makeover and working with young people at sports and youth clubs.

If you would like to get involved or have an idea we will help you to make it happen.

Volunteering through Yu-Act enables you to gain new experience and skills, meet new people and achieve something positive for your CV.

For further information about joining the Yu-Act project please contact us on 01582 472222 Extension 33704 or email hdawes@csv.org.uk.

Yu-Act is funded by the Home Office's Goldstar Exemplar Programme.  The Goldstar Exemplar Programme is a national initiative designed to enable voluntary organisations and projects throughout England to realise the potential of volunteers.

No future? No hope? No chance? No. They're volunteers from socially excluded groups. For the full story click here to visit GoldStar
