People with disabilities face many barriers in many parts of their lives - developing their skills and interests; getting out and socialising; volunteering and being active in the community; getting a job; being seen as givers not just receivers of help.

RSVP initiated and led this project as part of its work in support and recognition of older people.

The National Lottery Charities Health and Social Research Fund provided the finance for the project.
