Publications

CSV Environment staff are experienced in the creation of education packs, activity books and other resources. Recent examples include our Out to Play activity pack (see below) and Trees and Schools education brochure.

Many of our projects have produced materials which could be easily adapted for use in other areas. If you think that your project could benefit from resources like ours, please contact Tom Freeland at tom@csvenvironment.org.uk.

Out to Play Activity Pack

The Out to Play Activity Pack is designed for parents, playworkers, teachers or anyone working with children aged 2-12 years.  Copies are available from CSV Environment in Bristol, at a now reduced price of £10 (+p&p).

Call 0117 964 0114 or email bristol@csvenvironment.org.uk to place your order.

A recent review of the pack
"This inspirational resource is packed full of a superb range of practical ideas which facilitate rich outdoor play and learning experiences for children.
"I am passionate about the importance of children being able to experience the changing seasons and natural elements and I see this book as providing a key tool for anyone seeking to inspire outdoor play opportunities for children.
"I am delighted to find abundant ideas effectively presented here, which have been drawn from an impressively wide range of top quality references and the outdoor play experience of CSV Environment. The clear, colourful format and the grouping of related activities into sections, make this book a joy for both children and adults alike to explore.
"Take a look inside and I am sure you will find it hard to resist!"
