At CSV we have learnt a lot from our years of setting up and running cutting-edge community environmental projects, and well know the value of learning from the achievements of others.
As such, we are always looking for opportunities to share our experience, and can provide bespoke training on the delivery of a number of our projects, and dedicated advice and consultancy in Bristol, Birmingham and across the UK.
Training
We can offer training in areas including outdoor play, practical countryside skills, community and school food-growing, garden design and environmental education topics. We can design a course to meet the needs and budget of your organisation, drawing on a wide range of staff and written resources to inspire and develop your staff and volunteers.
In addition, we can provide ongoing support and advice in the application of our ideas to your projects. To find out more about how we could deliver a course for you, please contact Tom Freeland on 0121 322 2025, or tom@csvenvironment.org.uk.
Our current focus is on developing training in outdoor play, and we are looking to offer starter days in outdoor play, teaching the safe use of kelly kettles, rope swings, den building, wide games and other challenges. We can also offer dedicated Out to Play training days to accompany our activity packs, which are particularly suitable to Play Rangers and other detached play workers.
Whatever they are, we can respond to your current needs in outdoor play and imaginative environmental education, so please get in touch.

Consultancy and advice
We are experienced in providing practical advice on building sustainable community-based environmental projects, and can support you in developing new projects, and building links between communities and environmental issues such as recycling, accessing parks and the wider countryside, and organic food growing.
Whether you want help turning a good idea into real benefits for your local community, or you have a major environmental project which needs to reach out beyond its current audience, then we would like to help.
