This is a national network of volunteer media professionals who give time to help charities with press and PR.
CSV Journalist Network volunteers include print and broadcast journalists, radio and TV producers, marketing and communications professionals through to web developers and graphic designers.
Why the network?
Large charities and voluntary bodies have in-house PR departments, that smaller voluntary bodies do not - the CSV Journalist Network is here to help fill the gap.
How does it work?
Charities and voluntary bodies:
If you are a charity or voluntary body that needs help in any area of media relations, download the Word documents below, complete them, and return via email to journonetwork@csv.org.uk.
Click here to download the Charity Request for Help Form.
Click here to download the Guidelines for Charities.
We can't guarantee to find you a volunteer but in 2006 we helped almost 80% of the charities that applied to us.
Please note that there is a £50 registration fee.
Journalists and other media professionals:
If you are a journalist or other media professional who would like to join the network, you can return the Volunteer Registration Application Form (Word document) to journonetwork@csv.org.uk.
