Future Jobs Fund

CSV will be creating a number of new jobs for young people as part of the government’s Future Jobs Fund.

The Fund, a £1bn national programme, aims to create 170,000 additional jobs for young people aged 18 – 24  who have been on job seekers allowance for 26 – 50 weeks. It is anticipated that creating these jobs will deliver real and lasting benefits to communities as the jobs span the training, volunteering and community sectors.

A full list of the current Future Jobs Fund vacancies are available here.

Before applying for any positions please ensure that you are eligible by contacting your local Jobcentre Plus.

These jobs will last for six months, will be for 25 hours per week and paid at the National Minimum Wage. CSV aims to ensure that every person who works as part of the Future Jobs Fund programme finishes their employment with a greatly enhanced range of skills and knowledge and a more confident approach to job seeking.

The Future Jobs Fund is part of the Government’s Backing Young Britain campaign, which seeks to help young people into employment.
