The post holder will develop employer networks and respond to employment opportunities within the district in order to move job seekers directly into employment. You will work closely with individuals in order to secure the best possible outcome for the customer. The success of the post will have a clear and unambiguous focus on placing people into work.

You will be based centrally in Cardiff, but will spend the majority of time working within district providing an outreach service. Ability to travel in accordance of the requirements of the post is essential, along with knowledge of the local labour market, experience of working with unemployed people, ability to negotiate with people at various levels and excellent organisational skills.

A job share will be considered.
