Digital Outreach Limited

All people should have access to technologies that impact positively on their lives.

A unique partnership between CSV, Age UK, and Collective Enterprises Ltd., Digital Outreach Limited (DOL) aims to be at the forefront of helping people to use and engage with new technology in the home. DOL has been commissioned by Digital UK to deliver the Community Outreach Programme for the switchover from analogue to digital television.

We especially focus on assisting older and disabled people in the UK to benefit from new technologies in their homes and lives.

DOL is rooted in the voluntary sector and achieves its aims by working with and through trusted voluntary sector and charitable organisations. In each region DOL enables local organisations to support older, disabled and other potentially vulnerable local people, by providing information and speakers for events or drop-ins, training volunteers and developing a network of help and advice for older, disabled, vulnerable and disadvantaged people to help them make the switch.

All over the UK, DOL enables local organisations to support older, disabled and other potentially vulnerable people make the digital 'switch'.

We believe that all people should have access to technologies that will have a positive impact on their lives, and we are dedicated to working towards a future where everyone can benefit from new developments without disadvantage, barrier or discrimination.

DOL provides services that increase access to new technologies, particularly for older and disabled people and for other disadvantaged groups, and works with government, the voluntary sector and private companies to achieve these aims.
