CSV Make a Difference Day is the UK’s largest single day of volunteering.
Every year tens of thousands of people get together across the UK to make a difference in their communities.

Ever wanted to make a huge difference where you live? Whether you’re an individual or a small organisation, we’ll help you to set up your own volunteering project, with a wide range of fun resources, help and advice.
Recruit volunteers for an activity!
If you’re a charity or community group, we can help you to find volunteers in your local area. Over the past 14 years, 2/3 of the people who volunteered for the first time on CSV Make a Difference Day were still involved six months later.

Looking back at Make a Difference Day 2009
CSV extends a huge thank you to everyone who participated in CSV Make a Difference Day 2009.
The campaign was a huge success, involving over 65,000 people across theUK in a huge range of voluntary activity.
