Organisations big and small from the voluntary, public and private sectors all take part, from schools to charities, universities to companies. Hundreds of local heroes also make a massive difference where they live by organising their own projects.

Get an idea!
The campaign Handbook is packed with loads of ideas for projects small and large, as well as practical advice on setting up a project and recruiting volunteers. The Handbook also includes a handy section on raising the profile of your project, including template press releases and letters to local MPs or celebrities. Request your own copy by emailing us at difference@csv.org.uk with your name and address, or alternatively ask for an electronic copy.

Register your activity
Registrations will be open in the summer, and are completed through a simple form on the website. If requested, your activity will go onto the Activity Locator, so that people can find your event and join in on the day.

Receive your Action Pack!
Once you have registered, you will receive a free Action Pack containing t-shirts, posters, stickers, balloons and other free goodies to help your activity go smoothly!

We will help you at every stage, from pre-planning to carrying out your activity.
