Are you a broadcaster in Europe with experience of promoting volunteering on air?
Are you a broadcaster who would like to learn more about how this works?
Do you work in the voluntary sector and have a good story to tell?

CSV, the UK’s leading volunteering charity, is bringing together broadcasters and representatives of the voluntary sector from across Europe to share what works when promoting volunteering and active citizenship on air and to discuss what more could be done. Co-hosted by the BBC in central London and supported by the European Commission, the conference promises to be a great opportunity to share ideas.

We are also looking for people to do short presentations for the following workshops:

  • Using all types of social media to promote active citizenship through volunteering to new people
  • Using entertainment to promote volunteering
  • Traditional themed broadcasting campaigns as a way of promoting volunteering
  • How best to use volunteers’ voices to promote volunteering
  • Engaging hard-to-reach groups (eg migrants) in volunteering through media projects
  • Does volunteering have borders? The possibility of a pan-Europe volunteering campaign.

Register today to be sure of your place. Places are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Accommodation and flights will be provided if your registration is successful.
