Are you up for it?
Nothing gives you more of a buzz than making a real difference to someone's life.  Seeing someone getting the most out of life through the work you do with them is something very special.

Change Direction
Whatever you're into we can guarantee you an experience that will change your life and the lives of those you help.

Full-time volunteering with CSV gives people the opportunity to learn new skills, improve job prospects and most importantly help others. You could be providing support to young people, people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, or mental health issues.

Full-time volunteers live away from home and are provided with accommodation and weekly allowances to live on. A full-time placement can last between 4 and 12 months.

We are always looking for people with commitment, enthusiasm and who are able to get on well with others.

Here’s what some recent volunteers said about it:

“My time as a CSV in the Disability Office at Bradford University really helped me with improving and gaining new skills as well as experiencing a fantastic year. To be honest, this year changed my life, somehow I became more flexible, adult, independent, responsible and I still had a hell of a lot of fun. Thank you CSV!”
Jacob, May 2007

“Every day of the week is different and the people you're with, staff and service users, are great fun. It’s a valuable experience for everyone!”
Maike, May 2007
