Project Assistant

Location: Hartcliffe / South Bristol
Starting Salary: £ 12,420 p.a for 28 hpw
(Equivalent to full time salary of £15,525 p.a.)

CSV Environment is part of the national charity CSV (Community Service Volunteers), at the leading edge of volunteering and community action in the UK. CSV Environment has worked in south Bristol since 1987, and amongst other projects provides a range of landscaping and grounds maintenance works to  private and public landowners,  delivered daily by a small team of young people, trainees and volunteers of various abilities and experience.

We seek a Project assistant to help the project supervisor in the delivery of all practical aspects of the work, including managing tools and materials and supporting volunteers. Practical skills such as use of petrol strimmers, lawn mowers and hedge cutters are required, as is a good knowledge of practical site based health and safety. You will have the ability to keep simple records and a willingness to work in a responsible and safe manner at all times.

An enhanced CRB check is required for this post.
