This represented one of four strands which covered faith, new forms of volunteering and skills based employer supported volunteering. Funding for this work was for three years from April to March 2011.

NNVIA’s role as a partner provided members with a significant opportunity to take forward work that they consider to be important for the sector e.g. to improve the performance of Volunteer-Involving Agencies in involving volunteers from socially excluded groups and to make and present a strong case to the wider sector for doing more to make volunteering accessible to all.

The focus of Year 3 has been on consolidating the achievements of the Policy Action Community Teams (PACTs), building the capacity of NNVIA members to lead volunteering and disseminating and sharing the learning both within the NNVIA Network and more widely within the sector.
