CSV has nearly 60 staff in Scotland. We involve at least 13,550 volunteers in Scotland each year and provide or support learning opportunities for at least 7,000 children, young people and adults.
Our activities are delivered through nine programmes of work: Springboard Scotland, Volunteering Partners, Media, Employee Volunteering, Education, RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme), Environment, Campaigns, Consulting.
The CSV Scotland Advisory Board offers support and guidance to CSV specifically in relation to our Scottish operations and policies. Its Chairman also sits on the CSV Council of Trustees.
Our work in Scotland is resourced through project funding, service level agreements and contracts from a wide mix of public and private sources, including the Scottish Executive, local authorities, NHS trusts, Local Enterprise Companies, trusts and foundations, ESF and private companies.
CSV Scotland works to mobilise communities to make a difference at a local level.
REAP (Rural Environmental Action Project) provides training, support and resources to local groups across Moray and Aberdeenshire. It produces a monthly Green Diary of community events.
