At Hartwood Enterprises we can provide you with grounds maintenance, tree planting and gardening services in Bristol, which also help invest in training and volunteering in your local community.

Our clients range from public landowners to private individuals and as well as benefiting from our service, the work we do provides opportunities for trainees and volunteers to gain practical environmental skills and experience.

Our volunteers train on-site with staff and build up a portfolio of work, which they can then present to prospective employers or show as part of qualifications, such as an NVQ in Horticulture.

"Work includes, borders, boundary fences and hedges along with various planting including memorial trees and natural hedge lines. We have also used their expertise in a consultancy manner with site enhancement planning.

Glen, a volunteer with CSV Environment, found that getting involved helped him in to a career he really wanted,  “I really like working outdoors so being part of the CSV landscaping team was perfect for me. We did loads of different projects every week, I got my chainsaw licence and they helped me in my application to become a tree surgeon with a forestry team."
