Are you are looking for a fun and challenging way to gain recognisable skills, improve your UCAS application and give you the ultimate head start for a career in health or social care?

Being involved with one of CSV's hundreds of full-time volunteering projects nationwide will give you hands-on experience with people who really need your help.

Volunteer with us and you'll develop lots of new skills recognised by both admission tutors and employers. You'll receive training and support from professional staff allowing you to develop your knowledge and experience and improve people's lives.

Make your University application and CV stand out from the crowd with recognised voluntary experience.

You could be supporting people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health issues, mentoring young people, residents of homeless hostels or providing one-to-one support in schools.

"We see CSV full-time volunteering as an excellent introduction to social work, providing an opportunity to establish the skills and to gain the experience needed to start a career in social work. Applicants who have been full-time volunteers have a lot more to offer than just qualifications."

Lynne Berry, Former Chief Executive,
General Social Care Council
