GO London! Environmental volunteering opportunities

GO London volunteers in actionLooking to volunteer in London this weekend to make the local environment better?

GO London offers one-off commitment-free volunteering opportunities to fit in with your busy lifestyle. Anyone aged 16 or over can volunteer. You don’t need any previous experience or skills. Just sign up, turn up and get stuck in!

Click here for a list of forthcoming events that you can do!

Most GO London volunteering projects are environmental. You can volunteer on city farms, help clear rubbish from parks, cemeteries and river banks, and even learn some ancient environmental skills like coppicing. We also work with schools in London, building adventure playgrounds and sensory gardens as well as helping people with disabilities to spruce up their homes and gardens.

Want to improve your leadership skills?

Get in touch and find out about becoming a GO event leader. We’ll train you and support you every step of the way as you lead groups of up to 20 volunteers on weekend volunteering projects across the capital.

Why not join GO London on Facebook. Chat to GO London volunteers and event leaders and find out a bit more about what it’s like to volunteer with GO and the kind of things we get up to.
