CSV Full Time Volunteering Application Form

Thank you for choosing to become a full time volunteer with CSV!

To become a CSV Full Time Volunteer:

  • You must be aged between 18-35
  • You can volunteer full time for between 6-12 months
  • You must be willing to move away from your home town
  • You must be willing to be placed anywhere in the UK where your help is needed most
  • You must be a UK or EEA national and resident in the UK

CRITERIA FOR VOLUNTEERING WITH CSV

* CSV can only accept an application from you if you are a UK or EU national resident in the UK. If you are not a UK or EU national living in the UK we regret we are unable to accept an application from you unless it is through a CSV partner agency. Please visit the International Volunteers page of our website within the Full Time Volunteering section for more details.

You can choose any time between 6 and 12 months

If YES, please use your social worker, probation officer, or other professional worker as one of your referees.

REFEREES

Before we can place you in a volunteering opportunity we must receive at least two references.

Please fill in the names and addresses of two people who are willing to provide references for you. One should be someone who knows you in a paid or unpaid work capacity or if you have a social worker, psychiatrist, probation officer or similar professional working with you – you must give them as a referee. The other should be someone who could provide a character reference (teacher, religious leader, neighbour, etc.)

It is important that they have had contact with you recently. Please let them know we will be contacting them soon.

CSV will not accept references from relatives or friends.

If you are under 18, print off a copy of this application form and ask your parent or guardian to sign it (not necessary if you are applying from Scotland). Please send the signed form to CSV, Freepost ED02163, Birmingham. B1 1BR

DATA PROTECTION INFORMATION

CSV uses data to provide services to its customers in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988. We add your details to CSV’s database to process your application. CSV does not sell your personal information to other organisations.
