Older People

At CSV we believe that older people have the right to live independently, in safety and with dignity. Could you provide friendship and support to an older person in your local area? 

Our Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme (RSVP) runs local projects across the UK giving practical advice, support and above all friendship to older people.

Projects are run by senior volunteers at a local level. Our volunteers are from the local community so they understand the needs of older people in their area and offer help where help is needed most.

Volunteer with RSVP and you could offer advice on saving money, help older people get to and from vital medical appointments, set up a knitting group or simply be there once or twice a week to offer friendship over the phone.
